Would love to give a 5 star review but I honestly can’t. I was quite underwhelmed to the point I could only give 4. Maybe my expectations were high from looking at and receiving other blind dates with a book from other sellers. Shipping took quite a while and there weren’t any goodies other than a few stickers that were stuck to the package and couldn’t be reused, 1 bookmark, highlighter and a few tabs. I think for the price paid and the book chosen my experience could have been much better. This may be exactly what someone else is looking for but I do feel like I overplayed for what I received. Just very underwhelmed.

I do want to mention that this particular blind date was sourced from a vendor and not one of my personally curated packages. That said, I completely understand your disappointment, especially when you’ve had different experiences elsewhere.

For comparison, my in-house curated deluxe blind dates are designed to include multiple usable goodies (including at least three stickers, along with other thoughtfully selected items), so the experience is a bit different from this one.

I really value you giving Romantique Books a try and sharing your honest thoughts—it genuinely helps me make better decisions about what I offer in the shop moving forward.
