Romantique Books is proud to partner with independent romance authors to offer exclusive signed pre-orders for upcoming releases. We handle the logistics so you can focus on writing, signing, and connecting with your readers.
💖 How It Works
Our process keeps things simple and author-friendly:
- You order your author copies.
- Sign them (and add any included goodies).
- Ship the books to us.
- We package everything beautifully and ship directly to your readers.
You receive wholesale payment for each signed copy sold through Romantique Books.
✨ Program Guidelines
Exclusive Signed Edition
The signed pre-order edition is exclusive to Romantique Books.
You’re welcome to offer:
- Unsigned pre-orders through other retailers
- E-book and audiobook pre-orders
- Merch, bundles, or alternative options on your own website or Etsy
Only the signed version remains exclusive to us.
Pre-Order Timeline
To keep excitement high and avoid long waits for readers, preorder campaigns should begin no more than six months before the book’s release date.
Incentives Welcome
If you’re offering preorder bonuses that require proof of purchase, you may continue to do so. Readers can submit their receipts directly to you, and you may mail/email those items separately.
Online Only (for Us)
Romantique Books manages online preorder sales exclusively.
You are fully free to offer:
- In-person preorder options
- Launch event sales
- Convention or signing tour preorders
We’re here to support your online launch while you shine everywhere else.
Local Author Events
If you're a local DMV-area romance author, we would love to host an in-person signing for your release.
We require:
- 3 months advance booking
- Flexibility on location (our office, partner venues, or scheduled market pop-ups)
These intimate signings create unforgettable reader experiences.
📦 Sending Books to Us
After preorder sales close, please ship:
- All signed author copies
- Any included preorder items
- Packing notes or handling instructions
We’ll take it from there — packaging, presentation, and USPS/UPS shipping, all handled with our signature Romantique Books flair.
