What's a celebration without a few surprises?
We'll be hosting raffle drawings throughout the day, with prizes generously donated by Romantique Books and our participating vendors.
Prizes include bookish merchandise, Blind Date with a Book packages, gift certificates, tattoo gift certificates, and other special surprises.
How to enter:
- The first 50 guests who receive a complimentary swag bag will also receive a raffle ticket.
- Additional raffle tickets can be earned through qualifying purchases from participating vendors throughout the event.
We'll announce winners periodically during the event, with our Grand Prize Drawing taking place around 5:00–5:30 PM.
Be sure to check in with each vendor—you might earn another chance to win!

There is parking along the front, in the back and street parking is also clearly marked and available. Stop by my tent to get your swag bag (while supplies last!). Entry for tattoos will be through the back door. Just ask at the tent and we'll direct you.

📚 Meet J.K. Hernandez at Bookstore Romance Day!
We're excited to welcome J.K. Hernandez, an Afro-Latina author and artist from the Bronx, New York, now based in the DMV.
J.K.'s stories explore identity, family, queer love, and the search for belonging. Her debut novel, The Color Jade, is a sapphic coming-of-age story centered on culture and self-discovery. Its companion, Jade's Journals, revisits that journey through an intimate collection of journal entries exploring first love and healing.
When she's not writing, J.K. is building community through The Color Collective, a virtual book club dedicated to centering queer women and women of color in literature.
Stop by her table to meet the author, learn more about her work, and pick up signed copies of her books.
